Based on the Institute's vision of empowering its students, enhancing their participation in decision-making, and building an interactive learning environment, the Institute held its first meeting of the Academic Council for Students, chaired by Prof. Amir Mohammed Mubashir , Dean of the Institute, in the presence of the Institute's vice deans, the Secretary General for Educational Affairs, and representatives of all student study groups.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the Institute expressed his delight at the launch of this council for the first time, emphasizing that it is an important step towards enhancing student participation and providing a platform for them to express their opinions and needs. The meeting addressed a number of topics, most notably: the vision of the Student Council and its working mechanisms, the launch of educational initiatives and events, the organization of scientific visits, and the emphasis on academic discipline and effective attendance.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the Institute emphasized that the council aims to build a conscious and active student community, noting that the administration will support all student initiatives and commit to holding regular council meetings.
